@Sound1 I had a bear mod installed a long time ago from Quechus13 which also replaced the deer but then I started noticing they were popping up everywhere, obviously because it replaced the deer, which was kind of unrealistic for a bear. Deers are much more common than bears. What I really want is to leave the deers alone but at the same time have bears roaming around. I don't know if that's even possible.

You mentioned to DarkKlusteR above that this can actually be made into an add-on using the FiveM folder along with the AddonPeds plugin but my question is, once I make it into an add-on would the beer become dynamic and roam around alongside deers or would it be like a stiff motionless prop popping up randomly in the woods?

@JAM102970 Replacing the deer with the bear does cause it to spawn everywhere, unfortunately. However, if you convert the bear into an add-on ped, it won't spawn naturally in the world; you'll only see it when you spawn it manually.

@JAM102970 To add to the above, in Story Mode, you might be able to use something like the Popgroups Editor to manually add the ped so it spawns in the world. That said, I'm not entirely sure if it's possible to control how often it appears.

@Sound1 Once I make this into an add-on I certainly can add it to the popgroups.ymt, I modify the popgroups.ymt all the time whenever I want to add add-on vehicles to spawn ambiently in traffic, there is an "animal" section in there but still my main question is would the bear move or just spawn motionless like a statue, that's what I wanna know. What would be the point of having a bear appear somewhere and just sit there stiff waiting to be shot.

I did an experiment with the other guy's bear, not yours, I attempted to replace the boar with it, since the boar is much more elusive than the deers so once I did the swap I was able to spot the bear (a.k.a. "boar) but it didn't look right, his head was permanently buried in the ground for some reason, couldn't see the bear's head. It was moving around with his head buried in the ground.

Anyways, is there a way to make this bear move around once it's made into an add-on and properly placed in the popgroups.ymt?

@JAM102970 The bear, as an add-on, should not interfere with movement at all, it should still move around properly.

@JAM102970 The peds added to popgroups.ymt will have AI. So they will move around but it will be random and won't look as good as scenario animals ( they won't come to river to drink water unlike deers ).

The buried head most likely happen because of using wrong animal's animation. Deers and boars have different animations, so a ped meant to replace the deer won't have proper animations if you replace it with boar. Although you can swap these in peds.meta by editing <ClipDictionaryName> and <MovementClipSet>
<Personality> allows you to change how they behave ( Like a deer, like a boar, like a cow etc... ).

If you develop a "Bear" dlc package in which the bear spawns naturally and roams around wooded areas, that would be a nice dlc to download
