@Redzilla if they spawn with San Andreas plates means you are using the addon pack. You have to use the replace one to spawn cars on California plates. Then check with a simple trainer if you added correctly a plate in carvariations. Remember that a spawn rate of 10 (or less) means that 10 cars on 100 spawned will have that plate, so they are rare.

How to install it correctly? In your tuto you say to remove files from main folder, but it wasn't supposed to change from mods folder? (mods/x64e/...)

When i install the plates as addon or replace they just show up as yankton and the only thing that changes is the font. how to fix

Maybe following the instructions and install the files in the right way? Cause if you see only Yankton plates but changes the fonts means you installed only the Carcols but not Vehshare provided in the mod

I've replaced both Carcols and Vehshare and the only thing changing is the font. Don't know if this helps but OpenIV is unable to open the carcols file you provided, throwing an error: pIrInvalidFile
