I'm so incredibly new to GTA modding, I usually mod for BeamNG so this mod was just an experiment to make an "Automation the car company tycoon game" car, and export it to FiveM.
to install it in single player:
1. copy x64e.rpf to your mods folder in OpenIV
2. navigate to mods\x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf
3. drag and drop the contents of the 'replace' folder in this zip into vehicles.rpf
this was made for this video specifically -

I've been given permission from the automation devs to use exported cars in other games (as I understand too, as long as you don't sell these mods, you should have the same permission)
this mod is meant to replace the dune offroad car that is often seen driving around sandy shores
to install it in single player:

As a proof of concept this is great. Quality isn't there but that's irrelevant considering this is probably the first model to be ported like this. Gives me a glimmer of hope for this sort of thing.

I have to give credit where it's due, going from Automation to GTA without the big "Fuck You" to the GTA Modding community that is ZModeler's monthly subscription model. This is a incredibly rough first mod, let's be honest. but the implication of Automation now being a possible new front for add-on cars might possibly be the next big step for GTA Modding. It's only a matter of time before this site hosts it's "Gavril Vertex" (Automation vehicle turned into very popular and detailed BeamNG vehicle mod.)
