Here is a new Anti Air System for GTA. The S-500 is one of Russia's most modern SAM systems.
This mod brings the S500 launcher with custom animations and weapon settings to Los Santos. The animation can be toggled like any convertible roof on standard vehicles: by holding the "h" key on keyboard or right on a controller d-pad.
The missiles will launch upwards when the missile tubes are deployed and start tracking after a short while (similar to the VLS on recently released/updated ships).
The vehicle itself has all the standard GTA features: working wheels, openable doors, working lights (including toggleable sirens), working dashboard and steering wheel. Custom collision for all parts, BUT the tube launcher collision will not move when the animation is played. It remains in down position at all times.
Before you use this, make sure to use the CWeaponInfoBlob Limit Adjuster by alexguirre to prevent the game from crashing during loading.
Installation
1. Place the "s500aa" folder into [Gamefolder]\update\X64\dlcpacks\
2. With OpenIV, extract [Game folder]\update\update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml and edit this with Notepad++. Add the following entry:
dlcpacks:\s500aa\
3. Now you are done, you will need a trainer with "spawn by name" function (Enhanced Native Trainer for example) to spawn the vehicle type in:
"s500aa"

With all these great tweak add-ons by SkylineGTRFreak , I may end up incorporating this for my 'Army At SixStars' mod, which would work in tandem with my 'Airforce Intercept When Wanted' Mod.
I've already been running some test simulations, & boy does it look glorious already. GTA 6 might need to hold off for a while :0

I've been testing to see how well the Ai naval ships utilize the newly updated on board weaponry, including the VLS guided missiles.
