P.s. in the meantime, I could suggest you compare the weapon target systems from the older mod (either weapon.meta &/or handling.meta file), & try & determine where the new lines of code were added, which is something like "lock on vehicle cam effect" or something like that.

Also bear in mind, vylizanimamrdi problem was discovered to be other issues going on that were not related to this mod per se. Only after they eliminating some obvious culprits did they manage to get it working the way it was supposed too as many others don't share nor mention of this similar problem.

With all these great tweak add-ons by SkylineGTRFreak , I may end up incorporating this for my 'Army At SixStars' mod, which would work in tandem with my 'Airforce Intercept When Wanted' Mod.
I've already been running some test simulations, & boy does it look glorious already. GTA 6 might need to hold off for a while :0
@JoyLucien Yes I experience the same with San Antonio ship, I don't even bother with that one, since it seems more work is needed in fixing it.
I'll leave that job for SkylineGTRFreak.

@SkylineGTRFreak Will be releasing a few video's using your recently updated naval battleships, from my "Army at Sixstars" mod.
I've been testing to see how well the Ai naval ships utilize the newly updated on board weaponry, including the VLS guided missiles.
