Description
This modification enhances keyboard and mouse driving in Grand Theft Auto V, by smoothing out throttle, brake and steering, providing a cruise control feature with auto-follow, and other miscellaneous improvements such as engine control, fueling, etc. Aggressive driving is still possible, either by double tapping W/S, or enabling race mode (detailed user guide included in download).
Important
This mod is known to be incompatible with ikt's Manual Transmission, and Custom Gear Ratios. It may also be incompatible with other similar driving mods.

Installation
1. Ensure you have the following installed:
- ASI Loader (OpenIV > Tools > ASI Manager)
- ScriptHookV (latest version)
- ScriptHookV .NET (latest version)
2. Navigate to the Grand Theft Auto V main directory.
3. Go to the Scripts folder (part of ScriptHookV .NET, if such folder does not exist, create it).
4. Unpack the archive that was downloaded into the Scripts folder (SmoothDrivingV.dll and the SmoothDrivingV folder should be alongside one-another inside the Scripts folder).

Im pretty impressed. Got one ctd in 3 hours of gameply but maybe it was on my end. Anyways, this is a solid 5 stars mod for me. Good work.
Crashing
@KarlVisigoth Yeap, i found this as well, i thought it was another mod but after playing for 2 days i decided to ride a bicycle and bam! ctd. Tried it again, it worked for 2 minutes then again ctd. There's something about this mod and the way it handles bicycles. I'm changing my rating to 4 stars until this is fixed, the mod overall function is still amazing.

@Lieutenant Dan why does the mod affect the way the taxi driver is driving when im riding one? any way we can disable the mod when the player is the passenger?
Works perfectly. It changes the driving experience massively, which means it makes LSPDFR RP much more feasible and enjoyable. Been using it for a while but the latest game update breaks it (crashes to desktop).

This mod has some awesome features, I'd really like to see some options added to make it compatible with IKT's Manual Transmission mod. That and his fuel & speedometer mods are a go to/ must have for driving. It'd be great to get some of the realism features from this to work alongside those :)

Such a good mod but my game will eventually crash out of nowhere or everytime i exit my garage in a car :/
If you experience crashes try to disable Advanced gearbox in Driving file
EnableAdvancedGearbox=false

- OPEN IV(EDIT MODE)
- SCRIPTS---SMOOTHDRIVING V FOLDER
-EDIT 'DRIVING.INI'.
-SET TO 'TRUE' IN THE MANUAL TRANSMISSION AREA.
Love this mod. Unfortunately, been using this with LSDPFR and it was crashing my game every like 20 mins.
