@FuriousDemon by the way, this mod doesn't have to be updated manually. it scans for patterns in memory, so as long as rockstar doesn't mess with the driving mechanics again, it should work properly even after updates.
@rashkasosi yeah, it can act kinda weird when used with the smooth driving mod. im planning to fix it at some point, but im taking a small break from modding rn :)
and about the wheels not centering after you start moving: thats done on purpose, but i need to rework it and also add an option to disable it altogether.
@Reyser Hey, I'm pretty sure it's doable, although I'll have to take a look to confirm.
Then I can start working on it and a few other suggestions as well.
Also, thanks for the support and for approving the mod in the first place :)
Update 1.2
1. Improved smooth steering settings:
- Option to disable smooth steering in race mode.
- Separate steering sensitivity in race mode.
- Separate steering input smoothing in race mode.
2. Compatibility with nightly versions of ScriptHookVDotNet.
3. Auto-add system for new config lines.
You no longer have to update your config files to keep the mod updated.
Just replace SmoothDrivingV.dll and you're good to go.
Once you load up the game with the new version of the mod, a NewSettings.ini config file will appear with the newly added settings, which you can then change to your liking.
Nothing major here; some stuff was focused on feedback and requests, other on general ease of use.
yeah enjoy.
@rubbbberduck yes you should replace the original.
nevermind. the mod works fine with the latest nightly version of ScriptHookVDotNet.

@lspdfr red https://www.gta5-mods.com/player/air-jordan-1-new-texture-1-0#comment-2239755 ;)
i specifically made this mod because sticky wheels didnt cut it for me. the wheels can only lock to a fixed angle, they glitch out and lock every time you stop even though they weren't turned, etc.
@mindful_mori don't think so. this mod manually modifies values in memory, and in fivem you're limited to natives only.
@RandomUser123 hey, I'll add that in the future.
@rashkasosi hey, sure, shouldn't be a problem to fix.
@Iodine131 Hey, check the pinned comment

@ex4mple694201337 there's no menu, you can change the settings in the ini files
