Los Santos Underground is a fast-paced street racing mod that brings illegal races to the streets of San Andreas. Compete in events, or head over to the car meet, where you can race drivers 1v1.
Features:
- 10 Street Races: Pay an entry fee and take part in an illegal street race with up to 8 drivers. Winner takes all!
- L.S. Car Meet: Interact with other racers at the Los Santos Car Meet.
- 1v1 Races: Challenge drivers at the car meet to 1v1 races with customizable bets.
- Police Interference: Civilians may call the cops mid race, giving you a wanted level.
- Unique cars: Each opponent drives a customized vehicle with randomly generated mods which look surprisingly good most of the time.
- Customization: You can change many aspects of the mod in the config, including adding your own vehicles to spawn in races.
By default, the AI drivers provide a fun racing experience, however they aren't always too challenging. If you find the difficulty to be too easy for you, I'd recommend also using a mod like Faster AI Drivers by Eddlm.

Looks dope, as previously requested by someone else with the checkpoints, going vanilla with these racing mods would be the best idea, make it as similar as the regular game races as you can, be it checkpoints, sound effects, and anything else
There's also a feature in the default game races, that makes racers catch up to you, they spawn behind the player when if they are off screen, I script myself so I know it's doable, but it's your mod

@V8Enthusiast Hi! I'd like to report some bugs:
1) It seems the controller prompts still don't work.
2) If you go to a car meetup and try to challenge someone, clicking to key to race him will open a menu to name something; if you input whatever and press ok, the script will throw an error.

AMAZING MOD! Loved it! Added some races to the xml and worked flawless...
Just some ideas for the mod:
1- The possibility to enable/disable the blips.
2- The keybinding function be changed from a fixed key to the key corresponding to the keyfunction(eg. using the interact key as it displays)(i changed mine and the mod displays the correct key to press, but the real key that triggers the function still as E, the original key)
3- A function to enable laps, so th mod loops through the checkpoints "lap" times to make it a circuit and not a point to point race. and make it a option on the xml just like the illegal, type....
4- Create a category for the races, just like the type you already made, but with motorcycle, off-road and others...
5- Some description message for the races would be good too.
Again, loved it and i'm importing some races from "Online Races" ...
@CJislit About your bugs, did you tried the controller button, related to the keyboard key, in this case the interaction key. and the input menu once you challenge someone is the bet ammount value(put nummbers), if you set letters will crash the script due wrong parameters, just set a value like 1000 till 10000 and press enter.
@DiNagano Yes, supposedly taping right in the d-pad should start the races, but it does nothing unless I press E on the keyboard.

Great mod, love the car meet aspect but it defo needs a prompt to say how much to bet instead of just "Enter text" as i thought it was just game chat. Also needs controller support, cars are pretty diverse too and are never the same which is great. I can't seem to edit the config file though? changing catchup to False/false doesnt take effect even after a reboot
@V8Enthusiast Love the script, but there look to be some random crashes at the LSC meet. It happens sometimes when I approach the area.

Also, starting a race using a motorcycle looks to consistently crash the script.
Amazing mod, the only problem is most races throw an error and kill the mod while using Addon cars like people above have stated.
This mod was working perfectly but now the whole game freezes whenever I press E to start a race. Just stuck hearing the horn and in-game radio until I restart my PC.
@BestasYT I managed to avoid the error by deleting the LSUndergroundRaces.xml file. Maybe it will help you too.
One of the best mod ideas ever but sadly the races are too easy but still amazing i hope you find a way to make the races harder and make the ai's better like the one in Auto Sport Racing System, Waiting for future updates GOOD LUCK MAN!!
I reccomend letting the ai in the car meet go anywhere so they can be raceable with the mod "Impromptu Races" because the 1v1 system in the Car Meet is a bit easy and they just be crashing a lot + the check points are kind of confusing
