EDIT: added a new file after the 1st one was reported not working.
Information
These files will replace all the different colors of parachutes to just black. No more annoying random colors when parachuting.
P.S.
I have no knowledge in texture editing whatsoever. I just reverse-engineered the entire thing and figured it out myself since no one was making this. Plus, changing the color to black seems easier than, say, multi-colored.
Instructions
- Drop lts_p_para_pilot2_sp_s.ydr here:
mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday2bng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\props\mplts_props.rpf\
- Drop p_parachute1_sp_s.ydr here:
mods\x64c.rpf\levels\gta5\props\lev_des\p_v_lev_des_skin.rpf\
IMPORTANT
Do not forget to create backups! Also, restore the original files back before playing online to prevent being banned.

Does this mean you've found a way to edit the textures of individual parachutes? Ive wanted to do that for so long
@GooseDown You can edit the patterns of each parachute canopy. But it's a lotta trial & error to it

@esh-di I took my time to test my file and it really doesn't work on some cases so I added another file. Please try them both and see if it works now.
I'll try bro. With the old file i tried it about 5 time or something like that. I even tried to make the textures black myself but... didn't work. I'll keep you updated.
