This modification will replace the standard 60 rounds "banana" extended magazine of the Assault Rifle (AK-47) by a drum magazine with a capacity of 75 rounds.
How do i equip it ?:
Hit the nearest Ammu-nation and buy / equip the extended magazine for the AK (Assault Rifle). My mod is basically replacing it.
How does it work:
It's the result of a proof of concept more than anything else but it works great, and the changes are simple and clean.
Done in five seconds flat by swapping the model name in weaponcomponents.meta
How to install::
If you fuck something up the original weaponcomponents.meta file is included in the archive, just in case. Or if you simply want to uninstall.

- Navigate to Grand Theft Auto V \ update \ update.rpf \ common \ data \ ai
- Activate edit mode
- Replace (you can just drag and drop) weaponcomponents.meta with the one coming in this archive
- Disable edit mode
- Enjoy !

BTW guys, you will have to go to Ammu-Nation and buy and equip the 'Extended Mag' upgrade. Confused me for a secound.

@Drkz Would you consider adding onto this mod by editing the extended magazines for the other assault rifles?
@Jedwards98YT Depends. See the drum mag fits the AK live a glove both ingame and in reality (read : it exists). I don't feel i should start slapping drum magazines on everything.
@Drkz you should make an AA-12 for the game that would be awesome.
@raburs yeah man do what that giuy told u, make a copy of the original and then just swap it every time, but if im not mistaken, the files in Open IV don't even work on online cuz the creator set it that way, but I think u'd have to just delete the asi files and watever else

Cool mod, and awesome remembering that AK drums contains 75, not 60 rounds
but as @Dauge said ^ the vanilla Assault Rifle is not AK47, but an Type 56 (aka AK56, chinese)
seeing that the assault rifle has less damage than all the other rifles, I would love to see an actual AK47 instead of vanilla ak ;)

@filorte666 I have some troubles understanding your question.
I don't want to sound rude or demanding, but would it be possible to use some kind of long mag from the game, like the Machine Pistol or Micro SMG, and fasion it into a stick mag for the Gussenberg Sweeper? It wouldn't have to look perfect, but just placed in the right area to get the job done.
I would love to have a stickmag Thompson, but I can't find anyone who's done it yet.
