well i can confirm it now works as far as i can tell, i did the first couple steps and now have the icon on my map for the rocket ship and am being told to go to space!
i tried using another gameconfig.xml you linked in comments(not the 3.0 version) the star is now appearing on the map so lets hope i can proceed :) will post soon with results.
hey just redownloaded the game from steam to make sure everything was legit(no other mods or alterations made to the game) tried using the GTS mod with all requirements and prerequisites but when i launched the game it said "an error occured with grand theft space, check space.log for more info" idk where to view the space.log but i did try the mod earlier without redownloading the game and i was able to do the first few missions but could not go to the island to board the shuttle. the icon on the map didnt even appear.
only thing i dislike about this mod is the convoy setup, and the vans setup. the convoy is ridiculous and cant be done with some form of cheats like god mode or spawning in a karuma, even with a karuma when you get the barracks there are so many enemies trying to kill you and run you off the road its just not even that much fun. and having to type in the licence plate for vans setup? i play on very high texture, drove on a motorcycle in first person and still had a hell of a time getting the correct licence plate. like i said other than those issues this mod is amazing and very well done.
@lucasvinbr this is a great mod, only thing i dislike is how random "turfs" you try to take control of sometimes have gang members with grenade launchers which i think is ridiculous because i dont plan on taking over enemy "turf" with a tank or something like that, i would prefer maybe melee weapons or at most guns. a change of this would be great or if you want to keep the special enemies like grenade launchers, rpgs or snipers then maybe add a seperate blip on the map showing they have a special weapon because i always die from explosions out of no where. like i said other than what i just said this mod is amazing and keep up the good work!!
@deviant07 thats really weird, try removing all files from this mod and reinstall it making sure no steps are missed, i tried using this mod before and had that issue where nothing happened when i pressed H but a few days later i randomly decided to try again and it worked oddly enough.
for people having a problem where the build a mission mod wont start when you press H, it has nothing to do with the mission from this mod, it is only because there are so many mission the build a mission mod can only load so many. so save some mission and move them to a back up folder and just replace them with the missions from this mod. all missions are working for me i just had to remove some of the ones i already had.
i feel stupid, just looked in config file and seen the problem right away at the top lol i completely understand because when you start the game with no job you should be broke hahah. but i already looked in the config file before and must have missed it, silly me. forget my above comment as i found the solution :) anyone who wants to open files like the config file in this mod or other files like it including XML documents, i use a program called editix its free and has helped me alot, just thought i would throw it out there
everything works except when i save game both with this mod (k) and in game, when i go to load next time no matter what my money is $0 when i load in. anyone else have this issue and know a fix? i know its this mod that does it because i removed it from my scripts folder and loaded the game to have the money i saved with
