@Tonymods Delete update.rpf and update2.rpf from the base update folder let steam verification of files/ launcher reinstall them for you, delete the update.rpf and update2.rpf in GTA V/mods/update and replace with the one from GTA V/update. The just replace the config and it should work fine. Make sure you use heap and packfile limit adjusters for heap use 10000 and packfile 11784. NOTE: you may have to reinstall some mods that were previously in mods folder. Hope this helps.
UPDATE: My issues have been solved, it was OpenIV fault for reasons I cannot explain, gameconfig is fine tho
@wyruzzah Saviour! Thanks, you fixed my game :)
Last update for now because I can't take the frustration with this. Upon changing back to the backup version of the config on the clean game it still says corrupt game error...
In advance I'd like to say sorry for the update spam, it's just that I find new things out every time I finish writing. I decided to test the clean game (not backup) and upon changing the gameconfig and starting it gives me a "corrupt game error" maybe thats supposed to happen on clean games but idk maybe it has something to do with the fact I keep on crashing. (NOTE: in the modded game version I crash after roughly 20 seconds of loading into SP)
Additionally I have tested the game before adding packfile limit and heap adjusters and it worked perfectly fine with the mods, then I added the adjusters + gameconfig and the game starts crashing, tested most solutions and my only discovery is that it works without the mods folder + with packfile limit and heap adjusters. It makes it seem like its the gameconfig fault but I believe it shouldn't be. I am lost, if anyone has any ideas then please share.
I have been adding my mods 1 by one and it worked fine until the config, when I try to revert to the backup config the game still crashes, game works fine without mods folder, any ideas how I could look for potential errors?
After adding this to my latest 1.0.2845, it crashes upon opening the game. Any ideas?
@gorgonut Thanks!
@t1a2l Great mod although I agree with @gorgonut the fire is really annoying and I had to uninstall the mod, if the fire glitch could be resolved then I could play gta real life with it. Thanks!
