Teleportation Gun!
This mod turns the sniper rifle into a Teleport Gun. Instantly teleport to wherever you shoot! See that plane flying on the other side of Los Santos? Snipe it and immediately take the controls.
Features:
Push J to activate this mod
Teleport wherever your sniper rifle bullet lands (this varies based on render distance, weapon zoom, and range of weapon, I recommend using the custom weapons.meta included in the zip file) Shoot any vehicle to instantly become the driver
Notes:
As I said the distance one can teleport seems to depend on your game render settings, how far you zoom in with the sniper rifle, and the range of the sniper rifle, which I have edited in the included weapons.meta.
For best results I recommend turning the game render settings to max, and using my weapons.meta, our editing your own weapons.meta
There seems to be a lot going on in the game engine between render distances, weapon ranges, and targets. As far as I can tell from my experimenting you are more likely to teleport to far away locations by shooting objects like A/Cs, satellites, etc. Vehicles are also able to be shot and teleported in to from long distances. However shooting buildings, rocks, roads, etc from to far away prevents the game from registering a hit.
Installation:
Drag teleportgun.dll to /you_gtav_directory/scripts Make sure you have ScriptHook and ScriptHookDotNet If you want to use my weapons.meta, Use OpenIV and navigate to \Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\ai and repalce weapons.meta with my weapons.meta (Note: Make a back up of weapons.meta first!)

This is exactly what I needed. 2 suggestions: a button to turn the mod on and off, and could you make it so it works with the standard pistol too?
@Pizzahut I can totally add a toggle button. I have not experimented with the pistol but I will give it a go.
I'll wait until you add a toggle button. Otherwise I feel like I'd be going all over the map by accident when I tried to shoot someone
@superman5150 This mod only affects the sniper rifle. You can use any other gun normally
@Pizzahut I added a toggle button, just waiting admin approval. I played around with the pistol a bit, it seems to have a much shorter range than a sniper when hitting inanimate objects(buildings, the map, etc) but after tweaking the weapons.meta, the pistol can still be used to shoot vehicles from far away, although still no where near as far as the sniper.
There are a lot of mechanics involved, and I believe the ability to zoom with a scope forces the game to render more game objects in the line of sight, allowing it to hit objects from further away.

@Pizzahut okay, I can send you a pistol one after work. Might release a new version allowing user to choose what gun becomes teleport gun.
@scriptHijo which sniper rifle? the one that looks like the AWP?
@kennyyip65 Ahh not sure what AWP looks like, but the default weapon. The one that is literally called sniper rifle, not MK1 or marksman or heavy or whatever
it´s a great scrip but i have a problem, when i change the character the mod stops to work and even if i return to the first one is´n work anymore

Just downloaded a few minutes ago and already love it lol, it collaborates well with the portal gun mod in which i tested by teleporting to a high rise building with the sniper and then created a portal gun teleport and made another one on the street below to make them teleport to it and cars were falling off the building lol
Somehow I can't seem to make it work. Ah well, you guys have fun!

It's a great idea, but only works for some time: From the start of the game until I change the character.
I hope you can fix it.
Suggestion: It could be a good idea to reduce the damage of the snipper to 1 and avoid damaging the car when stealing.
