When playing my custom survivals, I really despised the original design of the juggernaut NPC from the Criminal Enterprises DLC.
Like really, bright colors with emissive armor? At that point, just have a giant target pasted on the guy!
I basically wanted a generic juggernaut NPC, but nobody has made one.
Really all the ones I could find are military/police based.
So after a month or two of work, I changed this armored neon billboard to well, an actual juggernaut! Pretty much a re-creation of those seen in the Paleto Score mission.
INSTALLATION: For the ped itself, place it here: "mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/mpsum2/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/peds/mpsum2.rpf"
For the "peds.meta" file, place it in: "mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/mpsum2/dlc.rpf/common/data"
This is so the juggernaut can have proper walking animations, the same ones from the Paleto Score.
A custom "pedpersonality" file is used as well, reason being so the juggernaut will have the proper weapon holding anims and have no action mode. Since with one, it makes him run the same speed as other NPCs when in combat.
Place that here: "mods/update/update.rpf/x64/data/metadata"
After all of that is finished, you should be set!
To play as this ped, just use a trainer to change into the ped.
The name should be: "U_M_Y_Juggernaut_02"
OPTIONAL PEDS.META FILES: These optional files gives both the Avon juggernaut (from the Doomsday Heist DLC) and the Merryweather juggernaut (from the SA Mercenaries DLC) proper walking and weapon anims.
For the Avon juggernaut, place the meta file here: "mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/mpchristmas2017/dlc.rpf/common/data"
And for the Merryweather juggernaut, the meta file goes here:
"mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/mp2023_01/dlc.rpf/common/data"
After that, just simply load in.
Use a trainer to swap into these peds.
The name for the Avon juggernaut is: "U_M_Y_Juggernaut_01"
And the name of the Merryweather juggernaut is: "U_M_M_Juggernaut_03"

Wished for more mask variety
But this is awesome in it's own right, no more stupid looking guys in EOD suits!
@DaveGravePrank I was gonna add mask variety, but didn't due to the existing masks clipping with the helmet.
Maybe I could include a YMT edit where the mask either spawn or not, as this NPC has 3 different faces with 3 different textures for each one.

You could try shrinking the mask, much like how the MP player model's mask shrink when equipped with a hat.
But again this is niche in it's own right. A good kind of niche y'know? Don't see too many people editing juggernaut peds. Why did Rockstar never made a proper juggernaut NPC besides the stupid looking ones?
