Replace some weapons sounds in GTA 5 with L4D2 weapons sounds.
Replaced sounds

Combat Pistol

Pump Shotgun
Sawed-Off Shotgun
Assault Shotgun

Carbine Rifle
Grenade Launcher
Weapons sharing audio files also seem to replace the audio.

Drag & Drop
1:Launch OpenIV, Enable Edit mode.
2:Copy RESIDENT.rpf and WEAPONS_PLAYER.rpf to mods folder.
3:Open each .rpf and drag and drop .awc files.

@nep nep I have an Idea! I think you should change the Title and the Pictures to something else because the Gun sounds sound like real guns: Change it to like (Realistic Gun Sounds Overhaul) I think you will gain more downloads with that

is there a way to only copy the sounds for the carbine rifle? i have an M16 mod and i want the L4D2 m16 sound for it

Copy and install the files with the name starting with "MGN_AK47_PLYR_VERC" from import folder.
in both resident and weapons_player rpf?

Yes. If you do not replace both, you will hear different sounds on the left and right channel.
@nep nep do the assault and the carbine rifle use the same sound? i don't want my ak47 to sound like an m16 lol
