Every hostage mod I found online is either broken or lacks functionality, so I decided to make my own.
PedHostages 2025 allows you to take NPCs hostage, manage and recruit them as body guards.
How to use:
Aim at a NPC and hold Y (Hotkeys can be configured in PedHostages.ini)
Once a NPC is taken hostage, press NumPad0 to open the hostage menu.
Manage the hostage through this menu.
Note: You can't take NPCs hostage when they're in combat!

- You can mark hostages on the map
- You can equip hostages with guns and make them defend you
- You can order hostages that defend you to attack NPCs (Aim at target and press H)
- Debug hostages when needed (when NPCs are glitched / bugged / etc.)
- Rob hostages

Followed the instructions unable to take a hostage. not sure why
Good mod! Just one question, does it work with all the peds in the game, including the police, or not?
@springtrapxd Thank you for the rating! Yes, this works with every NPC. But some NPCs, such as the police, become aggressive when you aim at them, so you have to be quick when trying to take them hostage.
@Gears2001 You know the mod is working when you aim at a NPC and a help prompt is displayed in the top left telling you which key to press. If not, check the console for errors (F4) or try reloading the mod. Also make sure the requirements are met.

@mitto_backup idk hoe I feel about adding literal human traffic to the mod lol but I can maybe add the option to rob or demand money to release them
Maan this mod is just fire! And i think ransom taking feature corrosive with torturing / stylish killing npc whose family didn't paid would be awesome. Ik it sounds complicated but i believe in you bro

@LouiDev You mean torturing? Yeah i think button in the menu would be ok, you click and animation plays nothing special. However It would be great if you add interactive torturing like in mod Kidnap V but it's extremely hard to make it work.
