Optimized for: Law Enforcement use / Hunting
Description:
This plugin will allow you to attach a silencer to the weapon you have currently selected.
If your weapon already has a silencer attached it will be removed.
GTA will also make a little animation for attaching and removing said attachment.
If the weapon has no silencer by default (not all guns have this) simply nothing will happen.
Also only the current selected weapon using the weapon wheel will be affected, this adds some realism to it.
Usage:
Default Key to use is: LShift + F10 (Controller: DPadLeft)
You can customize this with the included KISilencer.ini (Settings file).
Installation:
Simply add the Plugins folder to your GTA directory.
Then start the game via RagePluginHook.
Changelog:
- 0.1: Initial release
- 0.2: Added Readme and code cleanup
- 0.3: added: missing check for if player has no weapon equipped at all that would otherwise cause a plugin crash
- 0.4: added: fix for some crashes on startup and while use

The script is made for RagePluginHook, so it needs to be installed in the plugins folder and loaded as such. You can check the README within to archive for detailed install instructions.

Is it possible to make this a script mod? I've never used rage plugin, how do I do that?
@TrustNo1 possible, but I never did native script mods. RagePluginHook can be found here http://ragepluginhook.net/Downloads.aspx?Category=1 It gets extracted into the GTA V root directory and launches GTA V. It is basically a Singleplayer framework that is also used by LSPDFR Mod.

Is this still working for anyone?
Is this supposed to work with a standard script hook? When running from the scripts folder, after I hit the hotkey the game freezes for a while before I get a "failed to load main.ini" message. No crash, though.
This script is made for Rage Plugin Hook, so it doesn't rely on ScriptHook V.

today crash ,while loading with Los Angeles Red, LA Red loading Silencer has crasht...
OK my fail i have read ,LS Red or LA Red dont work with any LSPDFR plugins
@dschlawiner Works for me with Los Santos Red.
@Aebian I had to download v0.6 to get the ini for the mod to work as it's not included in 0.7 which causes the mod to crash on loading and creates an empty ini file.
