IMPORTANT: Due to the way this mod works, the original Rockstar Editor video file will NOT be saved to the disk (actually it does, but it will be empty). The complete video will be exported to the folder specified in the .ini file.
NOTE: For high resolution exports without DSR, use this guide by Kravencedesign
NOTE: If you want to know how to install and use this mod, check this great tutorial from whanowa.

Extended Video Export
Extended Video Export is an enhancement mod for GTA V, aimed at directors who want better export options from Rockstar editor.
Requirements
- Latest version of ScriptHookV
- Latest version of Microsoft C++ 2015 Redistributable Package (both x86 and x64)
How to install:
Just extract all the files to the game directory.
Configuration:
You can change the configuration by editing ExtendedVideoExport.ini file. Help about each option can be found in ExtendedVideoExport.txt
Current Features:
- High Quality Export:
Whenever you export a video via Rockstar Editor, this script saves it with a custom quality in the current user’s video folder. The quality of the exported video can be configured using the .ini file. Even lossless exports are possible too. - Custom Video Encoder:
Supported video encoders include (but not limited to) x264, x265, FFV1, VP8, VP9 and more. - Custom Audio Encoder:
Supported audio encoders include FLAC, AC3, Vorbis and more. - ReShade/ENB Support:
If you are using ReShade or ENB graphics mods, your exported videos will have the effects too. - Nvidia DSR Support:
You can now export higher resolution videos using Nvidia DSR. Note that this will only work if you use DSR in Fullscreen mode. Windowed and Borderless Windowed modes are not supported. ATI VSR might work too, but it is not tested. - Custom frame rate (Experimental):
You can now set the frame rate in the config file. Be careful that setting it too high might disable the exported file’s audio. Also note that this feature has only been tested on 1.0.350.1 version of the game. If you tested on another version and it worked, please leave a comment and let me know. - Motion blur (Experimental):
Videos can have high quality motion blur effect. Be careful when setting motion_blur_samples config, setting it too high will make the exporting take a very long time. - OpenEXR Export (High Dynamic Range):
Exporting of floating point R16G16B16 version of the scene is now possible in OpenEXR format. When enabled, the mod will create a new folder beside the exported video that contains one .exr file for each frame. This file also contains the depth and stencil buffers but they aren’t implemented the right way. These files are only usable in professional image and video manipulation programs. Enable this feature only if you know what you’re doing.
Important things to note:
- The default video codec is libx264, but you can change it in the .ini file. There are a number of example codec configurations in the .ini file, you can try them or change the configuration as you like.
- Exporting a video using this mod might take much longer times than the original export, especially towards the end. You might think that the process has freezed, but most probably it’s not.
- Lossless video files tend to get really large (around 1GB for 20 seconds of 1080p video @60fps in my case). These files are to be used with video editing software. They can also be played using MPC-HC and VLC, but it requires a lot of CPU power. The stuttering you may experience is because of the large size of the file and the complexity of the decoding process, the rendered files themselves have no stutter.

Got a problem or crash after installing the mod? Follow these steps to send me a complete log file so I can help you:
1. Modify "EVE\ExtendedVideoExport.ini" file and set the "log_level" option to "trace" like this:

@justafavx This mod dont use all pc power, so dont matter which cpu or gpu you use
@Guew72
fps - 23.97
encoder PNG sequence
motion blur samples 48 strength 1
@Andersonn Thx, Will the fps change something to a sequence or is it going fast enough ( camera speed)
@Guew72 Fps change amount of screenshots , 23.97 fps- you have 24 screenshots in sequence, 60 fps you have 60 screenshots , etc.
Everyone!!!!! I have finally cracked the code and found out what the problem was!!!!! it was the h.264 format!!!!! you need to go to the Microsoft online app store and download h.64 to HEVC. h.265 . mp4. download that then when you export your video using the lossless h.264 very slow, the video will export but it wont be playable. you then open up the converted and convert the video to h.265. then Booooooooom! your video will finally play perfectly! Also!!!!!!!!! about reshade not working. Theres a fix for that as well!!!!!! you need this! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XdVVnz_w66Q_lf1AI956Ythg4Rp8d8og/view?usp=sharing this is a moded reshade made for eve. downgrade your reshade to the one in this mod and reinstall your presets if you need to and BoooooooooM! its working perfectly! one more thing!!!!!!! for some reason with that moded reshade the fps drops to like 5. put your game in windows boarderless then hit alt control delete select task manager. your fps will go back to normal as long as you stay on the task screen while it loads. once it loads into the game you your fps will be back to normal and you should be able to close out the task manager screen.
@Anderson @Guew72 Are you sure about the motion blur length setting? Because setting it to 1 will make it full length and usually in movies (and hence the trailers as well) it's half length. I tried setting it to 1 in previous films as it did not impact the render speed but ultimately it ended up looking not that great. Setting it to 0.5 however gets me great results and it just looks so fantastic. My samples are set to 15 but that's only because it just takes too long if I set it too high and 15 seems like a good setting for the time to quality ratio.
@justafavx thx for your message im gonna try
@justafavx You can take your camera, set it to 23.97 fps, get in a car, accelerate to at least 60 km / h and take off the ground. what will you see in the video? nothing but a blurry picture. how much blur power is there? one? 0.5? I spoke primarily about realistic.
@Andersonn how much blur there is would directly depend on what shutter speed you're recording at though yeah? Films almost always follow the 180 degree shutter rule because it's the closest to emulating what the human eye sees and hence the output looks more natural (and cinematic). Which is basically the 0.5 setting on this mod or anywhere where you could choose a value from 0 to 1. @Guew72 maybe try experimenting with both and see what works for your project. I could definitely imagine cases where full frame motion blur would stylise things a bit, but in most cases 0.5 is what you'd want.
@justafavx omg bro shutter speed for 24fps=1/48s 30fps=1/60 etc , this is 50 years rule, ofc you can set 1/100 with 24 fps , but you video will be horrible sluttering, if you set 1/24 with 24 fps you get more motion blur than 1 streight omg, and dont forget about brighter or darker, if you set 1/100 with 24 fps you video will be very dark .So we have 24fps shutter 1/48s and full streight motion blur ( in dynamic scenes or fast camera speed ) This is word standart bro.
@justafavx And please give link on your video.
how to uninstall eve? I have just deleted eve files, now when try to export video game is crashing, I cant export video with rockstar editor.

p.s Sorry for my bad english, Great Mod!
Never had any issues with EVE exporting between updates, but now im having issues? Anyone have any ideas?
When i export with motion blur my camera stutters. Is it possible to export with smooth blend and motion blur at the same time
@Nelusje Hey! Yep its happend when you use motion blur and smooth blend camera, so if you need motion blur use linear blend camera , or dont use motion blur if you need smooth blend.
Can I export video in 4k ?
@Aaditya793 Yes
Hello, i install the Reshade 4.9.91 modified for EVE, but when i launch the Rockstar Editor, my game always shut down, someone know how can i fix it ? Thanks !
