-Explosions in GTA V is one of the most disappointing effects of this great game, because they are too small and textures are not the best. This mod Provides a better experience on the effects of explosions in gta v, with very realistic effect damage, realistic shock wave effect, improved textures and in high quality and improved fire in the concrete and grass after an explosion hazard. now with two types of explosions: "clearer or darker" and choose between bigger or smaller explosions
***IMPORTANT: it is quite possible that some graphic mod
change the color and texture of the explosion and it looks a little different.
- the color of the explosions may change in a certain time of day
INSTALLATION:
-just install the .OIV (normal version or new version version) with the package installer OpenIV
INSTALLATION (Manual)
1. Open .OIV with rar/zip program and get the files
2- start OpenIV
3- explosion.ymt: Go / update / update.rpf / x64 / data / metadata
4- explosionfx.dat: GO / update / update.rpf / common / data / effects
5- decals.dat: GO / update / update.rpf / common / data / effects
6- firefx.dat: GO / update / update.rpf / common / data / effects
7- core.ypt: GO / update / update.rpf / x64 / patch / data / effects / ptfx.rpf, ptfx_hi.rpf , ptfx_lo.rpf
8- Enjoy!
*** IMPORTANT: If you want the character to have more resistance to damage in all the explosions(like gta 4) would recommend the following:
1. download Simple Trainer
2. go to options
3. go to the second menu with the num key 6 or 4
4. go to "set player health" and add a high valuE

@DugiHowser I don't know, it just feels awkward to have a C4 planted on a car, only for it to drive away safely as if nothing ever happened, considering how massive the explosion is with this mod. Isn't there some file that adjusts the hitpoint rate of an explosion?

How do i make it compatible with the latest NVE? I like the NVE fire better but i want this mod's effects. I tried installing manually but i don't think it made any difference. Help is appreciated
can you tell me how to remove explosion from rpg?
I love these explosions, but i'm using the superman mod by JulioNIB and every time i use the laser eyes to slice someone in half, it sets the entire street on fire, which is kinda annoying. it would be perfect if the fire didn't spread like that, especially since asphalt isn't very flammable in the first place. You can burn asphalt, but it won't burn the whole road, just where the fire is.
Corrupts game files, was so confused at first then ran some tests and each time this mod is installed the game will throw a corrupt files warning, have no clue how it's barely mentioned here in the reviews, idk if ppl are using a older version of gta 5 to run it
