This mod replace the 128x128 moon texture for a 2k moon and replace the 512x512 starfield texture for a 2k starfield
Two version:
-Only 2k moon
-2K Moon + 2K Starfield
Installation:
Use OpenIV 2.6
go to x64a.rpf>textures and replace the skydome.ytd file with the new one
play the game in offline mode to avoid overwriting files
Changelog:
1.0 > Added 2K Moon
1.1 > Added 2K Starfield
1.2 > Reduced skydome.ytd size and added a option with white stars and less shiny. Fixed 2K Moon texture
1.2a > Emergency update. fixed green and pink sky texture

@Vreem5 i have the same problem with another mod, but only with the x64.rpf, its always auto-updating to the original. Did you found a solution yet?
@Vreem5 it seems like i found a solution: just create a folder called "mods" in the root directory of GTA V and copy the modded x64a.rpf to this folder so you have one there and one in the normal folder. The launcher is still updating something but it works now for me

Did you know on average you can only see around 4500 stars in the night sky with the naked eye. Less in the cities.

Very good, better than the original, but the stars a bit more, recommends that the next add the Galaxy and the like, and if the stars will flash the better

As simple as this is to install, it doesn't work at all for me (no difference in sky at all)
