I CONVERTED 2 WAGONS INTO PASSENGER CARS AND ADJUSTED THEM TO NOT MIX WITH FREIGHT
(12 passenger train, 13 freight train of different lengths 6-80 wagons)

Installation
install the OpenIV
open the ..OpenIV.. click on the top right ... edit mode
folder contents (trains) copy ......GTAV-mods-x64e.rpf-levels-gta5-vehicles.rpf
trains.xml, traintracks.xml, ..........GTAV-mods-update-update.rpf-common-data-levels-gta5
trains.xml, traintracks.xml, ..........GTAV-mods-common.rpf-data-level-gta5
close OpenIV
(made for singleplayer I don't know if it would work in multiplayer)

I tried it on other PCs and everything worked. I played single player. maybe it doesn't work if you have a lot of dlc.pack mods. the mod was made for the game without the dlcpack mod. sorry
crashed game first time second time didnt
Mine crashes as well. Great model and great detail. But this crashing is starting to annoy me. I noticed twice so far it was near the Grove Street railroad track line.
Mine crashed as well, and it's good to know I wasn't the only one. Maybe I'll try this again after an update.
@vena cz Maybe you could make an update to support games with the dlc installed too? I do like the mod, because of the Warbonnet locomotive. I will watch for future updates to this mod if you decide to make them.

@vena cz Modding is a learning experience, so don't get discouraged. For your first mod, this was done pretty well.
@PsychoRollerBlader Thanks. I started with gta 4, rebuilt it and left only the trees in the original. now the game is 120gb. gtav is much more difficult, but I'll figure it out, you have my word
was making my game crash after 5 mins i was pulling into my wonderland amusement park right up top map drove whole way crashed when i passed the train also waited on tracks for it as soon as i saw train it crashed followed it around next playthru crashed after 5 mins put normal train bak in game played for a hour n ten mins with no crashes so shows was train
is there anyone here for whom this works? because it works for me without a problem and also on other PCs without a problem... (I don't use any dlc mods) It is only for the basic version of the game. It's for people who want the original game but don't like the short train
i was on game version 102825 n new game config crashed after like ten mins so went back to version 102699 n can now play for over a hour no crashes but this crashed my game withinm 5 mins after i took it off got a hour
@vena cz Maybe make it compatible with other mods. A lot of people here will have multiple mods installed, like myself.
@vena cz I have my legal version of GTA 5 from Rockstar Games Launcher (v.2845). When I do installation as your instruction, my game every time asks for downloading updates (it probably updates x64e). When I update and enter the game, I can only see the vanilla/default freight train, but longer version. I can't see those wagons in your mod. What should I do?
