    @_CP_ should be fine then :D i replaced this values myself vor version 1.0.330 and it works like a charm. played the last 4 hours without a single problem. Other than this small bug (which is fixed in a couple of minutes) the mod is just amazing. I can not think about going back to vanilla ever again. Thx and keep up the great work!

    @_CP_ I have a clean, fully updated game. I completed the game from 0-100% with this install. After i completed the game i thought some mods would be funny so i installed OpenIV, ASILoader and VisualV. All 3 are the newest versions. I really love this mod but the problem is the visualsettings.dat. I tried it myself, if i change my vanilla visualsettings.dat light lods to the values from your visualsettings.dat the game begins to crash. I can use all other files of VisualV but the visualsettings.dat crashes my game every single time. I tried multiple reinstalls of the game and visualv and everytime i add visualsettings.dat to the update.rpf (or install visualv via oiv-package) the game crashes over and over again. I think the engine cant handle the larger light lods (view-distances) properly.

    Im talking about these lines in your visualsettings.dat
    // Vehicle light fade distances
    vehicle.lights.fadeDistance.main 500.0
    vehicle.lights.fadeDistance.secondary 500.0
    vehicle.lights.fadeDistance.sirens 500.0
    vehicle.lights.fadeDistance.AO 200.0
    vehicle.lights.fadeDistance.neon 150.0
    vehicle.lights.fadeLength 20.0

    these are the original values:
    // Vehicle light fade distances
    vehicle.lights.fadeDistance.main 80.0
    vehicle.lights.fadeDistance.secondary 40.0
    vehicle.lights.fadeDistance.sirens 150.0
    vehicle.lights.fadeDistance.AO 150.0
    vehicle.lights.fadeDistance.neon 80.0
    vehicle.lights.fadeLength 10.0

    as soon as i change those lines the game becomes unstable

    ok, i tried every file one by one, i could nail it down to the visualsettings.dat and playerswitch.meta, as soon as i add those two files via openiv. the game crashes every time after around 5-10mins (most times around the LifeInvader building but not limited to this area)

    i also checked the original files, they are COMPLETLEY DIFFERENT. with COMPLETLEY I MEAN THERES NOT A SINGLE LINE IDENTICAL. these files are definitely not for the latest version of gta 5.
    Example:

    VisualV timecycle_mods_1.xml (begin of file):

    The files from VisualV are from a waaaay older version of GTAV.

    crashes for me on 1.0.1103.2 (original of course, rockstar launcher version, non steam)
    no other mods or scripts installed. fresh installed gta 5, update.rpf copied to mods folder, replaced files with openiv.

    i start the game (it loads my 100% savegame, self played), run around a bit with michael, then i get a call to do a mini-mission for a property i buyed and when i drive to my destination, my game crashes. I tried it without VisualV and it works flawlessly. Hope you can sort out that issue because since i saw what VisualV can do, i dont want to go back to the vanilla game xD

    I'm sure that the Problem is VisualV because it is my first and only mod installed.

    @Calderon Very great mod! I really appreciate what you did here. May i ask if it would be possible to add X-Box Controller support? A button combo like ex. LB + Dpad-Right to save the vehicle and LB + Dpad-Down or Dpad-Up to locate them would be great. On most times i prefer playing with the Wireless-Controller on the big TV-Screen and it would be very handy to have this function.

    Keep up the great work!
