This is an updated version of my old Speed Limiter mod. This version uses ScriptHookV instead of .NET and offers more functions.
Description
With this mod you can set the maximum speed your vehicle is allowed to go.
You can add speed while the limiter is active to let the vehicle go to a higher speed or you can subtract speed to slow it down.
This mod will remember the cars you have set a limiter on so you do not have to set a maximumm speed each time you leave the vehicle.
Installation
1. Install ScripthookV
2. Unzip all the files to your gta 5 folder.

You can set custom keys in SpeedLimiter.ini for:

Yes there is a Speed Unit option, you can set it to KMH (standard) or MPH.
Excellent mod. Works great with Felonies Mod [.NET] in that I don't need to keep pressing and depressing the W button near police stations.
do you have to turn it on or something? cuz it's not working
@MAudri Defualt keys is 5 6 and 7 if you have changed them look again to see if you put the right number/code in or put the defualt numbers/codes back in
One problem I have is that with tuned vehicles the tires cant get any grip. Its like when you speed up with a super car and the tires smoke. just forever

Doesn't work. When I change the limit my car slows down greatly to the speed I set, but then half a second afterwards I can just continue driving without some set top speed or anything. Tried toggling it on and off.

no! choose one,, use smooth throotle only for manage your speed car, bike, and plane.

for anyone having trouble getting this going. i changed the ini to this. and it works. i have no idea how but it does. also it still shows in mph even though kmh was selected. still works great.

They should add that the sound of the car sounds depending on the speed at which you are going.
