This mod changes the handling/grip of several weapons in the game when you are idle, walking, or running.
(The mod modifies your weaponsanimations.meta, so it's recommended to back up your files before installing it. The mod includes a backup, but it's from the vanilla game.)

2/23/2026 - Fixed issues with the barrel animation in Pistol and Pistol_MK2, and stealth is now optional. Added a semi-compatible .meta for IC 1.8. This changes the rate of fire of the animations for some pistols, smg's, and rifles.
2/11/2026 - Initial release of the mod.
Notes:
If you're having trouble with the female MP or others not using the animations on some weapons, do this: Menyoo > Player Options > Movement Styles > Weapon Animations (All Below) > Default. (Female and Ballistic works as well.)

1) Open the .oiv file located in the "OIV" folder, and open it after that. Click on "Install" and then select the "Mods" option, if available.

Amazing! Could this be added to NPCs as well, to give them the same animation style? I'm happy to do the edits myself, I'm just wondering how I'd go about that. Brilliant work man.

Would it be possible to manually edit the files so that the sprinting anim is one handed but the jogging/walking anim are still your version?
@JZCHRiCP can you update the animations to be used for MP Female?
@MrButterHoles I don't think so. There is no specific part in the files for sprinting or running animation. (Maybe I'm wrong, going to check when I have time.)

@Matheuss_HZ I've never played on enhanced, so I don't know the probability of being compatible, but it probably isn't.
I love this mod - small bug, just as a heads up - fat peds, with fat movement sets, hold pistols weirdly. Just an observation! Keep up the great work bro.
question, could you do Immersive Combat compatibility? (maybe IC Modified too)

@CoronaPrime This is possible to fix, but it would mess up their bellies, especially for peds with move_superfat. (Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been quite busy lately, as well as fixing and adding new features to the mod, it's 1 AM right now.)
Amazing mod @JZCHRiCP! Very cool anims but why do they not work/only partially work on MP_Female? Is there a more permanent fix than menyoo?
